This Art Blog Is MOVING!

My Cutie Mark Is A Snake is merging with Skink, my personal tumblr which now doubles as an art blog! Ponies will be in the mix now, since maintaining a second tumblr for so little art doesn’t seem worth it! All work has been deleted from this tumblr and moved to Skink.

There will be non-pony related content!
I draw a lot of reptiles, character designs, and concepts. I’m attempting to break in to a style change, and that will evolve there. I also draw furry work, so if that offends, please stay away.

This blog is marked NSFW!

I do reblog things from time to time that I want to be sure are safely tucked under the proper rating. I have also drawn adult-natured things, though most of what I am likely to share on tumblr is nudity and not gratuitous porn, but you never know. I am trying to pull away from the more adult things to work on building to a style I enjoy.

DiscoPie is not moving!

It is staying on its own separate blog as it should!

This is a logo I created for The Burmese Python Initiative on request. I’ve done artwork for the organizers before. They are looking for other artists as well to help with T-Shirt designs - Check them out guys! They even need ARTISTIC hands! If you want to help, there is definitely something you can do! Check out their Facebook for more information! The Burmese Python Initiativehttp://www.savetheburms.org/The Burmese Python Initiative is an intermediary adoption program for four species of snake recently added to The Lacey Act as Injurious Species: The Burmese Python (Python Molarus Bivittatus,) the African Rock Python (both Python Sebae Sebae and Python Sebae Natalensis,) and the Yellow Anaconda (Eunectes Notaeus.) All four species, the iconic Burmese Python in particular, have a strong presence in captivity amongst private hobbyists and breeders, as well as a strong presence in the reptile industry. BPI is a program being cooked up now for problems later- with the recent ban of the importation and interstate transport of these animals, state legislations are preparing to change. People unable to keep these giant constrictors need a place for them to go, and should ownership become illegal in any area, current owners will have a hell of a problem. The Burmese Python Initiative is an answer to the problems this creates. Right now they are preparing to move animals in need before the bill becomes active law within the next 60 days. In only a short time, dedicated herpers have pledged everything from bedding and food for the animals to property and a building to house them. Many have stepped up to be a permanent home for animals in need, myself included. If you are unable to provide a home for a displaced large constrictor, but still want to help, there are many options available. Helping with phone calls and emails, volunteering to man tables at reptile expos, pledging a donation of supplies, all sorts of things. For the most active updates on this program, follow their Facebook page:http://www.facebook.com/savetheburms
